- El president assegura que “els vins de Catalunya són altament valorats en el mercat internacional”
- El cap de l’Executiu, acompanyat del conseller d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural, David Mascort i Subiranas, ha presidit la cloenda de l’Assemblea General de l’Associació Vinícola Catalana.
In his speech closing the General Assembly of the Catalan Wine Association, the acting president of the Government of Catalonia, Pere Aragonès i Garcia, said that “Catalonia is an agrifood leader in many types of products, including wine products”. The head of the Executive made these comments during the annual assembly of the Catalan Wine Association, which appointed its president and the new board of directors for the next four years. Eugeni Llos, the director of Celler Perelada, took over from Valentí Roqueta, who has led the Association for the last decade.
Aragonès also said that “the last few years have seen many challenges, but great results,” and “Catalan wines have enhanced their reputation and are rated very highly in the international market,” although “it seems that we still have a long way to go.”
During the event, the head of the Government mentioned Catalonia’s status as World Region of Gastronomy next year, and said “it will give us opportunities and raise the profile of our country’s products,” and will help to “reinforce the culture of wine in Catalonia and the appreciation of Catalan wine products.”
Aragonès declared that “the Government has worked shoulder to shoulder with you,” and that “support for exports will continue,” so that “the international market values an excellent product like Catalonia’s wines”. He concluded his speech by thanking “the entire sector for its willingness to work together”. “You represent much more than an excellent product – you represent an age-old culture of many generations that have gone before you,” he concluded.
David Mascort i Subiranas, the Minister for Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, was also present on behalf of the Government.
El president en funcions de la Generalitat, Pere Aragonès i Garcia, ha aprofitat la cloenda de l’Assemblea General de l’Associació Vinícola Catalana per assegurar que “Catalunya és una potència agroalimentària en molts tipus de productes, també en productes vinícoles”.
El cap de l’Executiu ha fet aquestes declaracions durant l’assemblea anual de l’Associació Vinícola Catalana, en la qual s’ha nomenat el president i la nova junta directiva per als quatre anys vinents. Eugeni Llos, director del Celler Perelada, ha pres el relleu de Valentí Roqueta, qui ha estat al capdavant de l’entitat durant la darrera dècada.
Aragonès també ha afirmat que “han estat uns anys amb molts reptes, però amb grans resultats”, que ha fet que “els vins de Catalunya hagin incrementat el seu prestigi i siguin altament valorats en el mercat internacional”, tot i que “encara sembla que tenim recorregut per davant”.
Durant l’acte, el cap de Govern ha mencionat la celebració de la Regió Mundial de la Gastronomia que es durà a terme l’any vinent al país, afirmant que “ens oferirà oportunitats i més visibilitat per als productes del nostre país” i ajudarà a “reforçar la cultura del vi a Catalunya i la valoració dels productes vinícoles catalans”.
Aragonès ha assegurat que “des del Govern hem treballat per estar al vostre costat i a la vostra alçada” i “el suport en l’àmbit de l’exportació continuarà” per tal que “el mercat mundial valori un producte excel·lent com són els vins de Catalunya”. Ha finalitzat la seva intervenció agraint “la disposició de tot el sector en col·laborar”. “Representeu molt més que un excel·lent producte, representeu una cultura mil·lenària de moltes generacions que us han precedit”, ha conclòs.
Per part del Govern, també hi ha estat present el conseller d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural, David Mascort i Subiranas.
